Gunpowder green tea has the longest shelf life of all green tea. The tea is pan fried and then rolled into balls. When the tea is boiled, the balls open up into leaves, and the taste is POW! Which is why it's called gunpowder tea.
If you brew it over 5 minutes it will become very strong tea. Brewing for shorter times makes a more mellow tea.
