Greenish, tightly rolled into small pellets.
The product is hand-processed each spring with careful plucking of only one leaf and one bud. This Gunpowder is sweet and very "nosy": savory roasted apples, palm sugar, walnut, cocoa, rye and spice notes that linger as you sip. Rich, coating texture and very smooth, soft mouthfeel are both signs of a quality gunpowder 3505. This is a very complex green tea and can be enjoyed in multiple infusions, a real treat for green tea lovers.
The best Gunpowder green teas have a shiny surface, a hallmark of freshness, and are deftly rolled into tightly curled pellets.
This is truly an excellent everyday green tea and world away from examples you'll find in the supermarket. Learn about our world of green tea.
