Generally tea can be divided into six types:



1. Oolong tea: Tieguanyin, Golden Osmanthus, Wuyi Rock Tea (including Dahongpao, Water Beetle, White Cockscomb, Iron Luohan, Wuyi Cinnamon, Wuyi Narcissus), Zhangping Narcissus, Zhangzhou Huangya Qilan, Yongchun Bergamot, Taiwan Dongding Oolong, Guangdong Phoenix Narcissus, Phoenix Dancong, etc.


2. Black tea: Lapsang Souchong, Jin Junmei, Yin Junmei, Tanyang Gongfu, Qimen Gongfu, Ning Hong, etc.


3. Green tea: Longjing, Birouchun, Huangshan Maofeng, Nanjing Yuhua tea, Xinyang Maojian, Lushan Yunwu tea, etc.


4. White tea: Junshan Silver Needle, Baihao Silver Needle, White Peony, Gongmei, Shoumei, etc. 5. Dark tea: Pu'er tea, Fuzhuan tea, Liubao tea, etc.


6. Yellow tea: Mengding yellow bud.


Due to the long history of growing domestic tea, the vast tea area, the different natural conditions, the variety of tea trees, and the different methods of extraction and processing, various and colorful tea products have been formed. Through long-term practice, people have created and adopted different processing techniques, developed a series of different teas from non-fermented, semi-fermented to full-fermented, and gradually formed six major teas in the traditional Chinese sense: green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, white tea, yellow tea, black tea.
