According to Azerbaijan Customs statistics, from January to July 2020, Azerbaijan imported 8402.9 tons of tea, an increase of 13.9% year-on-year and an increase of 1023.6 tons. Imports amounted to 34.059 million US dollars, an increase of 18.5%, an increase of 5.312 million US dollars.
During the reporting period, imported tea accounted for 0.6% of Afghanistan's total imports.
From January to July 2020, Azerbaijan imported 206,000 tons of fruits and vegetables, an increase of 9% year-on-year and an increase of 17,000 tons. Imports amounted to 124 million U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 9.7% and an increase of 11 million U.S. dollars.
During the reporting period, imported fruits and vegetables accounted for 2.1% of Azerbaijan’s total imports.
