At 10 o'clock on June 8, the X9216 "Chunli" Shengzhou tea train, full of 100 TEUs of tea and tea series products, set off from Yiwu West Railway Station with a whistle. To Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, marked the successful opening of the first tea train in the Yangtze River Delta.
For a long time, the export logistics methods of Zhejiang tea enterprises have basically been based on shipping. Affected by the global epidemic, lagging shipping, fluctuations in freight rates and other factors have led to a backlog of export tea, and the foreign trade operations of Zhejiang tea companies have been affected to a certain extent.
Zhejiang is one of the largest tea-producing provinces in China. Shengzhou has always been rich in green tea, of which pearl tea exports accounted for about 60% of the country. It is the main production area of pearl tea and China's largest pearl tea processing and export distribution center. This tea train is a train customized for the local Zhejiang Chunli Tea Co., Ltd. in Shengzhou. The total cargo weight is 1100 tons and the value is about 5.6 million U.S. dollars. It exits the Khorgos port and is expected to arrive in Tashkent in 10 days.
Logistics and transportation are connected with supply at one end and demand at the other end, and at the same time link the upstream and downstream of production enterprises. The first tea train in the Yangtze River Delta named “CHUNLI” has opened up a new land logistics channel for regional tea export. More high-quality tea will take the "CHUNLI" train to the world, driving the upstream and downstream industrial chain of tea producing areas and the revitalization of the countryside. At the same time of development, it has also brought a good "tea life" to the people of the countries along the "Belt and Road".

It has become a major bridge and green channel connecting Eurasia, and has played an important role in epidemic prevention and control, smooth logistics, and lower transportation costs. It has effectively alleviated the impact of the epidemic on foreign trade import and export enterprises. From January 1st to June 7th this year, the China-Europe Railway Express Yiwu platform opened a total of 650 trains, with a year-on-year increase of 189.1% in shipment volume; of which, there were 174 return trains with a year-on-year increase of 6306.3% in shipment volume.
