The "Opinions" further refined the development direction of Zhejiang tea industry in terms of tea varieties, technological innovation, and brand creation. The tea industry in Zhejiang will form a pattern of coordinated development of teas such as famous and high-quality green tea, black tea, yellow tea, white tea, green tea, dark tea, scented tea, and matcha; with Longjing tea as the main body, Lishui fragrant tea, Wenzhou morning tea, Anji white tea The development trend of many brands. In addition, the mechanization and intelligence level of tea garden management and tea picking and processing will also be greatly improved, and the pass rate of tea quality and safety monitoring will reach more than 98%.
The "Opinions" also particularly emphasized the promotion of the integrated development of the tea industry and the cultural invigoration of tea. By 2025, Zhejiang will have 10 strong tea counties in the entire tea industry chain, 10 strong tea tourism counties in the whole region, 50 fine tea tourism routes, and 200 tea estates with complete services. Zhejiang will promote the integrated development of tea production, tea culture, tea tourism, tea leisure, and tea health by cultivating new industries, new business forms, and new models that deeply integrate tea-related elements, and build a beautiful tea town in an all-round way.
